Too much simplified?Edit

Ronga's second edit may risk causing errors if the target of the redirect doesn't exist yet (as is common when a new name is considered desirable), because variants of this template tend to create an article without the "Category:" prefix and require time-consuming corrections later when someone notices. Would someone knowledgeable care to check? Then I'd be inclined to copy this to w:c:starter because it's so useful. — Robin Patterson (Talk) 10:01, February 17, 2010 (UTC)

It appears to me that the first edit, not the second one, would run a risk of creating Main namespace articles if the Category namespace article does not exist yet. What the simplification removed was the links to the main namespace if the category namespace articles did not exist yet. --Yoshord 16:44, February 17, 2010 (UTC)
