I'm trying to create an InfoBox-esque character template for my Wikia. I've been at it for at least an hour and I'm getting nowhere. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong...I've been able to make templates before?

It just shows up as a broken link called "Template:CharaBox," and if I click the link, it takes me to a blank edit page. I've even tried using premade templates, but the best I've gotten from them, even after copy+pasting the information, is an uneditable box.

That's the code you use when calling the template. You don't use that when creating the template. --Yoshord 23:20, January 8, 2010 (UTC)

Whenever I type the name of my template, which is CharaBox, it immediately turns into a link as if I'm calling the template and replaces the code I entered.
