:: Div sure. But I disagree about the shortcut. There's a place for a simple quote template, and a place for a more complicated one (better at the top of a page). When you say "kept to a minimum", are you saying you are not in favor of this parameter to replace the #ifeqs that already exist? I was thinking about See Also sections.

We don't want to assume that the user will have all the templates on Templates Wiki. Sometimes it is a fair assumption that if they have one, they will have the other. But sometimes it isn't. Template:Quote ought to have a See Also for Template:Q, for example, but that's not a certain assumption at all.

We could #ifeq: a SITENAME check to create a See Also section that only renders on Templates Wiki, as can be seen on Template:Infobox_character/doc. But wouldn't it make more sense to include it as a parameter on Template:Documentation instead? {{Documentation|tw-seealso=*Template:Q}} could easily render a See Also section including a link to Template:Q at the bottom of the documentation - that wouldn't display on the end user's wiki, even as an error. Do you think so? Henstepl (talk) 01:06, December 22, 2017 (UTC)

I think {{Q}} should be a shortcut to {{Quote}} with Quote being moved out of a <table> and into a <div>. Lady Aleena (talk) 02:22, December 22, 2017 (UTC)
See also sections should be kept to a minimum. And it should be See also. Lady Aleena (talk) 02:26, December 22, 2017 (UTC)
Div sure. But I disagree about the shortcut. There's a place for a simple quote template, and a place for a more complicated one (better at the top of a page). When you say "kept to a minimum", are you saying you are not in favor of this parameter to replace the #ifeqs that already exist? Henstepl (talk) 04:30, December 22, 2017 (UTC)
