I have noticed that there is a Russian Templates wikia at ru.templates.wikia.com. This wiki has a significant number of templates, as can be seen at AllPages.
We could have interlanguage links from this wiki to ru.templates.wikia.com made via a request at Community Central. Then, I could have the interwiki links added across this wiki by simply editing a single page at Template:Is RU and modifying Template:Documentation to accomodate it, as has been done for JA and ZH wikis. - There is also a Vietnamese wiki at vi.templates.wikia.com with some templates. I could add this just as well.
- Not only that, but I have found evidence of three wikis that may have existed but been deleted, perhaps automatically by a script:
- de.vorlagen.wikia.com
- tl.templates.wikia.com
- pl.szablony.wikia.com
- We could have the Russian and Vietnamese wikis linked immediately, and the German, Tagalog, and Polish wikis undeleted by Staff, and then linked. All of these templates could be interwikilinked automatically, using our Template:Documentation and some cleverly-coded dependency templates. Henstepl (talk) 09:03, December 18, 2017 (UTC)

- How dissimilar do they need to be to warrant removal of interlanguage links? And would we expect that dissimilarity in identically-named templates? In practice, if you look at the JA AllPages and the ZH AllPages it becomes clear that the templates on these wikis are primarily templates from our wiki copied to the same location and then translated, making our wiki the common factor. Can you find two identically-named templates whose automatic links are harmful?
